Now tennis is an ESport in the Metaverse

Many sports are having their digital adaptation through ESports and tennis could not be left behind, so Tennis ESport will seek to close this gap and present a new virtual sports offer within the Metaverse.

Tennis Esports is a virtual reality app created in 2016 in Vienna, Austria that since its creation has sought to stick as closely as possible to our sport, with a very real emulation that seeks the sensations of what it would be like to play against the best tennis players in history. Today it has average of a thousand monthly users, in more than 25 countries like US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, England, France, Spain, Germany and many others.

While it might sound complicated, it’s an app you can run on the Oculus App Store and is played with 3D-printed rackets that are balanced for the same feel as a real one.

The main short-term objective that Tennis Esports proposes is to seek the realization of a tour that brings together the best players in the world, with the goal of being able to participate in the Virtual Series of the 2024 Olympic Games.
