This week the fourth episode of “The Tennis Talk – Coaches Voices” premiered, where we had the pleasure of chatting with Gilles Cervara, coach of Daniil Medvedev, current world no.1. The French coach shared his work philosophy and what it is like to work with the best tennis player in the ATP.
In this conversation with Fernando Segal, CEO of the Segal Institute, the French coach described himself as a calm person who bases his coaching on communication: “I describe my coaching very arranged in the relation in the communication not trying to be a hard person. Sometimes I read in many pleases that you need to be strong, to be hard with the person that you coach, that is not my style of coaching, of course I can be like anyone”.
